The Kindle Colorsoft only just launched, and it seems that this new color-screen e-reader has been nothing but beset by problems.

An Amazon spokesperson said that Colorsoft should still be usable despite the yellow screen. We have been told that turning off the e-reader and leaving it off for a few minutes should resolve the issue, though we do not know if the issue will return after doing so.

Amazon says it’s working to fix issues with the Kindle Colorsoft, its first color e-reader, following complaints from early buyers that a yellow band of discoloration appears on the bottom of the display.
