We might see a brighter screen on the Galaxy S25, but the S23 holds its ground pretty well too. There's no huge reason to upgrade if you focus on the display tech alone. Of course, we need to run our tests on the Galaxy S25 when it lands in our lab, so stay tuned for that.

However, the Galaxy S25 wouldn't be the first Samsung phone to get this functionality: it's also available on the Samsung Galaxy A55 that launched earlier this year. It would be the first time it had shown up on a flagship Samsung phone, however.

The Galaxy A55 5G supports seamless updates for a faster update process, and a leaker says this feature will come to the Galaxy S25 series.
