    1. Power down the MacBook.
    2. Undo the screws holding down the back cover.
    3. Unplug the battery from the motherboard.
    4. Remove the screws holding down the battery.
    5. Lift the battery out of the MacBook.
    6. Fit the new battery.
    7. Screw the battery down.
    8. Refit the connector1.
